God’s Everlasting Love

Scripture reminds us that God loves us with an everlasting love (Titus 3:3–5 NASB). His love is unconditional, pure, and beyond human comprehension. It is not based on your performance, achievements, or failures. It is rooted in who you are in His eyes - His beloved child.

The Old Covenant vs. The New Covenant

• Old covenant: The focus was on your love for God. The law commanded, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength” (Deut. 6:5; Matt. 22:37–40).

• New covenant: The emphasis shifts to God’s love for you. Grace reveals that His love is the foundation of your relationship with Him.

Let’s be honest - no one can perfectly love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. The law was designed to show us our inability. But God, knowing this, demonstrated His perfect love by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us with His own blood.

Grace Changes Everything

Under grace, the focus is no longer on asking, “Do I really love God enough?” Instead, it’s about resting in the truth: “Do I know how much God loves me today?” When you believe right about His love, your faith strengthens, your hope rises, and your walk with Him becomes steady.

Living in the Reality of His Love

Here are three truths to anchor your heart:

• Unconditional acceptance: God’s love is not earned; it is freely given.

• Identity in Christ: You are not defined by your past mistakes but by His grace.

• Strength through love: Believing in His love empowers you to rise again, moving from faith to faith and strength to strength.

Choose to believe today that God loves you - right now, in this very moment. His love is not distant or conditional; it is personal, present, and powerful. When you walk in the awareness of His love, you’ll find peace in failure, courage in trials, and joy in everyday life.
