π Don’t Let the Light in Me Die, God
π Don’t Let the Light in Me Die, God
There’s a kind of pain that doesn’t scream. It hides behind laughter, behind makeup, behind sermons and smiles. It walks into church, sits in the back, and leaves before anyone notices the tears. It’s the girl who was raped and still sings in the choir. The boy who lost his parent and hides his scars under long sleeves. The pastor who preaches hope but battles depression in silence. The woman who hates her body. The man who lost everything. The one who stares at the ceiling and whispers, “God, please don’t let me wake up.”
This blog is for them. For you. For anyone tired of being strong.
π When the Flame Flickers
You were once full of light. Full of dreams. Full of fire. But life happened. And now you’re tired. Tired of pretending. Tired of surviving. Tired of smiling in public and breaking in private.
You still believe in God. But you wonder if He still believes in you. You still pray. But your prayers sound more like cries. You still show up - sometimes - but it feels like you’re fading.
π―️ The Candle on the Floor
There’s an old woman, poor and forgotten, lying on the floor. She worships by candlelight. No stage. No crowd. No microphone. Just her and God. And somehow, her flame still burns.
You don’t need a spotlight to shine. You don’t need applause to matter. You don’t need to be whole to be held.
π The Cry That Heaven Hears
“God, don’t let the light in me die.” It’s not just a lyric. It’s a lifeline. It’s the cry of the broken, the abused, the abandoned, the weary. It’s the cry of those who still want to matter. Who still want to live. Who still want to believe.
And God hears it. He hears you.
π Light Doesn’t Die - It Rises
You may feel like your light is gone. But embers still glow. And God is the breath that revives them.
You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. You are not too far gone.
Let this song be your prayer. Let this blog be your reminder. Let your tears be your worship.
Because even in the darkest night, God whispers: “I’m still here. And so is your light.”
π Scripture
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” - John 1:5
π Closing Prayer
God, for every soul reading this - for the one who’s tired of pretending, for the one who’s barely holding on - breathe life into their flame. Remind them that You see them. You love them and You are near. Don’t let the light in them die. Let it rise again. Amen.
A Beautifull promise: Isaiah 60:1- Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
