Knocking is bold. It’s not quiet or cautious - it’s the sound of faith that refuses to give up. It’s the rhythm of a heart that believes God is listening, even when the silence stretches long. When Jesus said, “knock,” He wasn’t just offering encouragement - He was issuing a challenge: Don’t stop. Don’t lose heart. Keep going.

📖 “…knock, and the door will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7

Doors in Scripture often represent access, opportunity, or divine invitation. And this verse reminds us that God’s Kingdom isn’t locked - it’s waiting. Not for the perfect, but for the persistent. For those who keep showing up, keep praying, keep believing.

Knocking is an act of faith. You wouldn’t knock if you thought no one was there. You knock because you believe someone is listening. You believe the door will open - even if it takes time.

Knocking isn’t glamorous. It’s repetitive. It’s vulnerable. It’s the moment when you risk rejection, silence, or delay. But it’s also the moment when heaven leans in. Because God honour's persistence. He sees your faith in every knock, every prayer, every tear.

Think of the widow in Luke 18 who kept coming to the judge. She didn’t stop. She didn’t settle. And Jesus used her story to show us the power of relentless faith.

💬 Reflection: What Doors Are You Knocking On?

Take a breath and ask yourself:

• Are you knocking on the door of healing, praying for restoration?

• Are you knocking on the door of purpose, longing to know your calling?

• Are you knocking on the door of peace, hoping for calm in the chaos?

And more importantly - are you willing to keep knocking even when the answer takes time?

🧭 Faith That Waits Well

Sometimes the door opens quickly. Sometimes it creaks slowly. And sometimes, God redirects us to a different door entirely. But He always responds. Not always with the answer we expect but always with love, wisdom, and perfect timing.

So today, knock boldly. Knock faithfully. Knock with hope. Because the door will be opened and what’s behind it will be better than you imagined.
