Refined by Fire — Day 3: Strength in Surrender.
![]() |
| Those who wait - Their strength will be Renewed. |
Theme: Growing through trials and becoming stronger in faith.
Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 - “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
π±Focus: Trusting God’s timing.
In a world that celebrates speed, surrender can feel like weakness. But Isaiah 40:31 reveals a divine paradox: strength is found in waiting. Not passive waiting, but active trust - leaning into God’s timing, even when it doesn’t align with our own.
Waiting on the Lord is not idleness. It’s a posture of faith. It’s choosing to believe that God is working behind the scenes, preparing, refining, and aligning things for our good. When we surrender our timelines, we open ourselves to divine renewal.
God’s strength is not just for the sprint - it’s for the long journey. He empowers us to soar like eagles, to run without weariness, and to walk through valleys without fainting. But that strength comes through surrender, not striving.
