Depend on the Lord For the right Timing.

Everything Happens at the Right Time.

Life often feels like a race where speed, strength, and skill determine success. Yet Scripture reminds us otherwise: “The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favour to men of skill, but time and chance happen to them all” (Ecclesiastes 9:11).

This verse teaches us that human effort alone does not guarantee victory. True success comes when we align ourselves with God’s timing.

God’s Timing Is Perfect

Psalm 37:23 declares, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.” As a child of God, your steps are divinely directed. Even delays, detours, and disruptions can be part of His protection and provision.

The Hebrew word qarah - translated as “happen”- means “to encounter, to meet without pre‑arrangement.” In other words, God orchestrates “right happenings” in your life. What may seem like coincidence is often divine intervention.

Real-Life Testimonies of God’s Timing

  • September 11, 2001: A believer’s son missed his usual train because his alarm clock failed. That delay kept him from being inside the Twin Towers when tragedy struck.

  • Jakarta, 2003: A businessman survived a hotel bombing because he happened to walk behind a pillar at the exact moment of the blast.

  • Jakarta, 2009: A woman avoided being in a restaurant targeted by terrorists because she lingered in her room reading devotionals. That “delay” saved her life.

These testimonies highlight how God places His children at the right place at the right time. Human wisdom cannot predict such outcomes - but divine guidance can.

Trusting God in Delays

Being stuck in traffic, missing a flight, or facing unexpected setbacks can feel frustrating. Yet these moments may be God’s way of shielding you from unseen harm. What looks like inconvenience may actually be divine protection.

Instead of anxiety, choose to rest in His sovereignty. Jesus Himself promised: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). His peace is greater than any plan we could make.

Living in the New Covenant of Grace

Hebrews 8:10 assures us that God writes His laws on our hearts. Through His Spirit, He guides us supernaturally in daily decisions. When you depend on Him, you don’t have to strive - you simply walk in His favour.

Right happenings are not accidents. They are evidence of God’s love and faithfulness. Trust Him to lead you, protect you, and position you for blessing.

Final Encouragement

Beloved, remember this: nothing in your life is left to chance. The Lord knows how to place you exactly where you need to be. Depend on Him for the right timing, and you will experience His peace, protection, and provision.

Be Safe and God Bless.

Stay Tuned: God doesn’t just forgive sin, he cancels burdens.
