Practise Jesus' Presence and see His Power.

Experience The Difference.

Why His nearness is real even when your feelings say otherwise

One of the greatest truths in the Christian walk is this: Jesus is with you whether you feel Him or not. His presence is not measured by emotions, goosebumps, or spiritual highs. His presence is guaranteed by His promise - “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

And the best time to thank Him for His presence is often the moment you feel nothing at all.

Feelings Change - God’s Promise Doesn’t

We live in a world that teaches us to trust our emotions. But feelings can be deceptive. They rise and fall like waves. They shift with stress, fatigue, hormones, or circumstances.

God’s Word, however, is unchanging. Jesus is Immanuel - God with us - not only on our best days, but also on the days when our hearts feel numb or distant.

A pastor once shared a humorous story about a groom who, moments after his wedding ceremony, said, “Pastor, I don’t feel married.” The pastor grabbed him by the collar and said, “Son, you are married whether you feel it or not. Take it by faith!”

It’s the same with Jesus’ presence. You don’t go by what you feel. You go by what He said.

The Power of Practicing His Presence

Practicing the presence of Jesus simply means acknowledging Him in your daily life - whispering a prayer, thanking Him for being near, or inviting Him into your thoughts and decisions.

And sometimes, when you least expect it, His guidance becomes life‑changing.

A True Story of Protection and Divine Intervention

Shortly after finishing high school, I worked part‑time as a teacher for a class of ten‑year‑olds. One afternoon, while kneeling in my living room and thanking Jesus for His presence, I felt a strong prompting to pray for one of the girls in my class. She had been absent that day, and although children miss school for many reasons, this was the first time the Lord ever led me to pray specifically for a student.

The instruction was clear: Pray for her protection. Cover her with the blood of Jesus.

The next day, chaos erupted at the school. News broke that the girl had been kidnapped by a notorious serial killer who abducted children for demonic rituals. Several children had already been murdered — but this girl was miraculously released.

When she returned to class, she told me that the kidnapper suddenly stopped his ritual and said, “The gods do not want you.” We know exactly why: she was covered by the blood of Jesus.

Every other child kidnapped by this man tragically lost their lives. She alone survived.

Not because of luck. Not because of chance. But because Jesus was present and His presence was activated through prayer.

Why Practicing His Presence Matters Today

The enemy still targets the next generation. He fears the calling, purpose, and anointing on young people. That’s why parents, teachers, leaders, and believers must cover their children in prayer and declare Jesus’ protection over them.

Practicing His presence is not a religious ritual. It is a lifeline. It is spiritual awareness. It is partnership with the Holy Spirit.

When you acknowledge Jesus, you position yourself to hear His whispers, His warnings, and His guidance.

Jesus Wants to Be Involved in Your Everyday Life

You don’t need to be a pastor or minister to experience His leading. When this happened to me, I wasn’t in full‑time ministry. I was simply a young teacher learning to walk with Jesus.

Whatever your role — parent, business owner, student, leader, or homemaker - Jesus is with you. He wants to guide you. He wants to protect you. He wants to make you effective and successful in your calling.

His presence is not reserved for the spiritually elite. His unmerited favor is for you.

How to Practice His Presence Daily

Here are simple ways to cultivate awareness of Jesus in your everyday life:

  • Whisper “Thank You, Jesus, that You are here with me.”

  • Invite Him into your decisions, meetings, and conversations.

  • Pause during the day to acknowledge His nearness.

  • Pray for your children, family, and workplace.

  • Read a verse and meditate on it throughout the day.

These small moments open the door for His wisdom, protection, and power to flow.

Final Encouragement

Beloved, Jesus is closer than your breath. Even when you feel nothing, He is working. Even when you sense silence, He is present. And when you practice His presence, you make room for His power to show up in ways you could never imagine.

Immanuel - God with us - means God with you. Always.

Be safe and God Bless.
